Hi Robert, Glad to answer any questions you have, although our vessel came with a custom trailer that the original owners had the manufacturer spec. Here is a link to a blog site where I have a post regarding the annual recovery of our vessel. I consider a boat this size on a trailer transportable, but not in the true sense "trailerable" given that we are boom truck or yard lift dependant to raise the stick.

Thank you Courtney!
Enjoy...

Chris and I are proud owners of one of Darren and Cindy's electric motor setups. We couldn't agree more, there's no better way! The "gringhy" is the way to go! Can't wait to take ours to Mexico ...departure date = 38 days!

Great article! My husband and I try to be super energy conscious on our boat and it would be great to carry that through to our dinghy. I love the lack-of-noise perk with this system.

This is a great concept, and being a dog owner on a smaller sail boat, I've been wrestling with this problem myself! Nice work Cindy and Darren, and Gaia Marine for being on the forefront of new technologies. It's so important to be as green as we can be!

I'm all for this idea provided that the signs be no higher than 4 feet high, anchored in at least twenty feet of water, with no more than 6 feet of rode tether, nor can they be allowed to infringe on Ivar's underwater advertising and must maintain a maximum twenty foot swing area. And like shellfish harvesting, the signs can only be set after sunrise and must be removed by sunset on the following days: Thursday - Saturday, and only 5 signs can be placed at a time. Molting signs must be returned. A careful record must be kept daily, filled out in ink, and then returned by Labor Day, to the department of signage no later than the end of this year.
Good hunting. Capt. Jim - Boaters Resource Center
