Is that Three Sheets Northwest in your pocket?

Feb 26 2010 in Announcements by Marty McOmber

Now it’s easier than ever to catch up with Three Sheets Northwest anytime and anywhere. We’ve just optimized our website for mobile browsers so you can read all of our stories on your smart phone, submit comments and even tweet or email a link to our stories.

And you can add a nifty icon to your phone’s home screen so we’re always just a click away.

The new mobile theme for Three Sheets Northwest will load our site faster in your mobile browser. And the interface is designed to be easier to use on a small screen – so clumsy thumbs are no longer a problem.

The new smart phone version of Three Sheets Northwest quickly loads headlines from our latest stories, along with a thumbnail picture. Click the down arrow on the right corner to scan an excerpt of the story or read the full text by clicking the headline.

Want to share your thoughts on a story you just read? That’s easy too. You can leave a comment at the bottom of any story. There are also links to bookmark the story, email it to friends or post it on Twitter.

But what if you want to see our regular site on your mobile phone? No problem. At the bottom of every page, there’s a handy button that allows you to turn off the mobile theme and view Three Sheets Northwest just like you would on your computer.

The new mobile theme works with a wide variety of mobile browsers including Android, Aspen, Blackberry9500, Blackberry953d, Cupcake, Dream, Incognito, iPhone, iPod, Opera mini, Webmate and Webos. Sorry, but it doesn’t play well with Windows Mobile yet.

We’d love to know what you think of this new service. Drop us a note here or leave a comment below.
