The Port of Seattle sent out the following release announcing the availability of dry boat storage at Shilshole through June of next year.
SEATTLE – Shilshole Bay Marina is now providing seasonal storage space for boats on trailers. Located in the parking lot area south of the marina building, the storage area is fenced, well lighted and secure. Fees are $5.08 a foot per month, including tax. A minimum rate of $91.40 applies to all vessels smaller than 18 feet.
Act now to reserve a location for your boat. Space is limited, and only available until June of 2010. In water moorage is also available right now. For more details on all moorage and storage options, please call Shilshole Bay Marina at 206-787-3006, or visit us on the web at www.portseattle.org.
Shilshole Bay Marina is the premier marina in Seattle. Recently renovated with 1400 slips, Shilshole Bay Marina is minutes from sailable waters and has great views of the Olympics, convenient parking, an on-site boat yard, and a state of the art sailing center.

From the marina rule book. Page 5
• Trailers, RV’s or other classified recreational vehicles are not allowed in the parking area. ???
• General Parking areas are for the use of customers and persons involved with the use of Marina Facilities. There is not a charge or time limit for vehicles in general parking.
II. Application
The Marina Regulations, Policies and Procedures in this handbook apply to all customers of Shilshole Bay Marina. Owners of boats and vehicles using facilities or space within the Marina are subject to charges, rules, procedures and conditions of the Port of Seattle Moorage Tariff (copy available from Marina office.)
I wonder if the fee includes the 12.84% lease hold tax that is charged to people paying for slips over 30 days in duration.
