Homepage issue?
Jun 14 2012 in Announcements by Marty McOmber
Hello, Three Sheets Northwest readers. We need your help to see if we are having a technical issue with our website. One of our readers reported that the mobile device version of the website was appearing on his desktop computer browser. We want to know if anyone else is having the same issue.
If you are viewing the site on your home or work computer, desk top or laptop, it should look like this:
On a smart phone the site should appear like this:
If the site isn’t behaving properly for you, could you please let us know by taking the one-question survey below. If there is an issue, please tell us what you are seeing in the comments section below. Include the type and version of the web browser you are using. And if it is Internet Explorer, make sure that the “compatibility view” is turned off. That’s the little broken page icon in the address bar.
The crew of Three Sheets Northwest thanks you!

Hello, it’s 6/16/2012, 9am, I’m on a Win7 machine running IE9 and I got the mobile page layout when I came to the site. At the bottom, is a gizmo to switch the mobiel layout on/off. I clicked it and a dialog came up, I chose to switch out of the mobile theme but the layout was the same. Just FYI. I had no problems the other day when you first posted this.

Now that I haved used the site to post the comment, when I return to the home page, it’s correct.

6/15 iPod Touch Safari displays the full site and not the mobile optimized version. Past few days it has switched back and forth between mobile and full site views. Also displaying a weired behavior in which the site is zoomed in tightly to the first item. Screen caps available if you’re interested.

OK in IE 8. Have never seen the Smartphone version on the desktop. Just tried Firefox 3.6.28 also ok.

Yes, it happened to me yesterday (IE9). It seems to be working fine now though.

Looks fine on Firefox today.
Yesterday I got the phone version once, other times were fine. Yes, I check in a couple times a day. LOL

Normal on Chrome, but I get the full size version on my Android using both Dolphin and the stock browser (I actually prefer full size on my phone, it’s a big screen).

I’m getting the usual layout on my desktop (I tried with IE 9 and Firefox 12), and the usual phone layout on my phone (Android stock browser).
