Hi Ruth,

That sounds very frustrating. I know that the National Marine Manufacturers Association is aware of the need to do some outreach to lenders to make them aware of the program and encourage participation. I don't know where they are with those efforts, but there's a media call tomorrow with the NMMA that I'll be participating in and will ask them about a possible list of SBA-approved lenders providing DFP loans, if there is one, and how dealers can best identify banks that are offering these loans.

I'll let you know what I find out.

Best,
Deborah

I have the same comment as Reana. I've just spent another frustrating day on the phone and in email trying to find an SBA lender that will administer this program.

I too have left messages with the SBA and await a reply. Either banks have no clue about his program, or they have no involvement in it.

Any help is appreciated. A lifeline is only useful if it's attached to something solid.

All the blogs and news sources I've been reading keep denoting that you can find a list of SBA approved lenders on the SBA site. You can't. The SBA guidelines for the DFB 7A indicate that they have more specific requirements and that not all SBA approved lenders necessarily qualify to provide DFB 7A. Can someone find the actual list of DFB 7a lenders??

I have put in calls to the SBA and am still waiting for a call back.
